The Mysterious Ruin

I propose to research the mysterious "ruin" near the South American Collection. This little nook is very interesting- from its unusual presence to its unique graffiti art, one cannot overlook this location. Apparently it used to be a water reservoir for farmers in the later 19th century, but now it stands as one of the arboretum's most unusual artifacts.

Whatup Shapity Shap Shap mk-Shapers. I jock that ruin big time dude. And i think that it would be interesting to know a little history behind it. It is the paragon of college reveries. We need to start a Dead Poets/Are you Afraid of the Dark monthly gathering there for sure dude. Maybe in the arboritum video, it can start out with a birds eye view of the arboritum then slowly zooming in on the fire by the ruin, where people are telling stories about the Arboritum (or we could just use this to start a horror movie off, telling scary stories, SOUNDS PERFECT!)

Hipler you are so funny man, you seriously have the best vision / foresight out of anyone i know... you always know what you want and are able to describe it on the spot... no wonder that project in 191 was so successful.

I as well jock that ruin. I think it would be a rad subject for a video documentary, assuming there is information about it's origin. And i'm sure some private tactics have been employed there so maybe we can tie it in w/mine? unless there is just so much about the ruins that it needs it's own piece...

You should talk to Robin Hill in the Art Dept. I know she has photos of an art event that was staged there some time ago. Students sort of rebuilt a part of the wall using blocks of ice. It was pretty spectacular. Those students might even be reachable and may have some info on the site, or personal experiences that will be valuable.
